1. General Cleaning:

  • Dusting and Sweeping:
    • Dusting all surfaces, including shelves, baseboards, window sills, and light fixtures.
    • Sweeping and vacuuming all floors (hardwood, carpet, tile, etc.).
  • Vacuuming and Mopping:
    • Vacuuming carpets, rugs, and upholstery to remove dust and debris.
    • Mopping hard floors such as tile, wood, and laminate for a deep clean.

2. Kitchen Cleaning:

  • Appliance Cleaning:
    • Cleaning kitchen appliances (refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, stove, etc.).
    • Inside of the refrigerator, wiping shelves, removing any food debris or spills.
    • Cleaning oven and stovetop, including racks and burners.
    • Wiping and cleaning the microwave inside and out.
  • Cabinet and Drawer Cleaning:
    • Wiping down kitchen cabinets, drawers, and handles, both inside and out.
    • Removing any food crumbs, grease, or dirt buildup.
  • Countertop Cleaning:
    • Wiping down countertops and backsplashes to remove stains, spills, and dirt.
  • Sink and Faucet Cleaning:
    • Scrubbing and sanitizing the kitchen sink and faucet to remove stains and buildup.
  • Trash Removal:
    • Emptying trash and recycling bins and replacing liners.

3. Bathroom Cleaning:

  • Toilet Cleaning:
    • Scrubbing the toilet, including the inside of the bowl, the rim, and the base.
  • Shower/Tub Cleaning:
    • Deep cleaning the bathtub and shower, including scrubbing tiles, grout, and removing soap scum.
  • Sink and Countertop Cleaning:
    • Wiping down sinks, countertops, and mirrors.
    • Cleaning faucet handles and any soap dishes or trays.
  • Cabinet Cleaning:
    • Wiping down bathroom cabinets and drawers, both inside and outside.
  • Floor Cleaning:
    • Sweeping and mopping the bathroom floor.
  • Trash Removal:
    • Emptying bathroom trash cans and replacing liners.

4. Bedroom Cleaning:

  • Dusting and Wiping Furniture:
    • Dusting and cleaning furniture, including nightstands, dressers, and shelves.
    • Wiping down any surfaces where dust may have accumulated.
  • Closet Cleaning:
    • Wiping down closet shelves, rods, and any built-in storage.
    • Ensuring closets are free from dust, dirt, or any items left behind.
  • Vacuuming Floors:
    • Vacuuming carpets, rugs, or sweeping/mopping if floors are hard surface.

5. Living Room and Common Area Cleaning:

  • Dusting and Wiping Furniture:
    • Dusting and wiping down all furniture, including coffee tables, TV stands, and side tables.
  • Cleaning Electronics:
    • Wiping down TVs, remote controls, and other electronics to remove dust and fingerprints.
  • Vacuuming/Sweeping:
    • Vacuuming carpets, rugs, or sweeping and mopping hard floors.
  • Organizing:
    • Tidying up bookshelves, shelves, and any other clutter in common areas.

6. Detailed Deep Cleaning:

  • Baseboards and Walls:
    • Wiping down baseboards, moldings, and corners.
    • Cleaning walls of any marks, smudges, or stains (especially if repainting is not planned).
  • Window Cleaning:
    • Washing interior windows and window sills.
    • Cleaning blinds, shutters, or curtains (if required).
  • Light Fixtures and Fans:
    • Cleaning light fixtures, chandeliers, and ceiling fans to remove dust or cobwebs.
  • Doors and Handles:
    • Wiping down doors and door handles, including any scuffs, fingerprints, or smudges.

7. Special Areas:

  • Laundry Room Cleaning (if applicable):
    • Cleaning the washer and dryer, wiping down the surfaces, and ensuring the area is free of lint and dust.
  • Entryway Cleaning:
    • Sweeping and mopping entryways, cleaning door frames, and wiping down the front door.
  • Patio or Balcony (if applicable):
    • Sweeping or power washing exterior spaces, wiping down furniture, and removing any debris.

8. Trash and Debris Removal:

  • General Trash Removal:
    • Collecting and removing trash and debris from the property, including in closets, cabinets, and other hidden spaces.
  • Disposal of Old Furniture (if requested):
    • Some cleaning services may assist with removing unwanted furniture, though this is usually an additional service.

9. Final Touches:

  • Air Freshening:
    • Spraying air freshener or using odor-neutralizing sprays to leave the home smelling fresh.
  • Final Sweep:
    • A final walk-through to ensure that no areas were missed, and everything is cleaned properly.
  • Check for Stains:
    • Checking for any remaining stains on carpets, upholstery, or walls and addressing them.
