1. General Cleaning & Tidying:

• Dusting:
  • Dusting furniture, shelves, baseboards, and other surfaces.
  • Cleaning light fixtures, ceiling fans, and vents.
• Vacuuming:
  • Vacuuming carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
  • Spot cleaning any stains on carpets and furniture.
• Sweeping and Mopping:
  • Sweeping and mopping hard floors in kitchens, bathrooms, and hallways.
  • Ensuring floors are dry and free of dirt or debris.
• Wiping Down Surfaces:
  • Wiping down countertops, tables, and other frequently used surfaces.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing high-touch areas like light switches, door handles, and remote controls.

2. Kitchen Duties:

• Dishwashing:
  • Washing dishes by hand or loading/unloading the dishwasher.
• Cleaning Kitchen Appliances:
  • Wiping down appliances like the refrigerator, microwave, stove, and dishwasher.
  • Cleaning the inside of the oven and refrigerator on a regular basis.
• Countertops and Cabinets:
  • Wiping down kitchen countertops, cabinets, and drawers, removing crumbs or spills.
• Trash Removal:
  • Emptying the kitchen trash and recycling bins and replacing liners.
• Sink Cleaning:
  • Scrubbing and sanitizing the kitchen sink, faucets, and backsplash.

3. Bathroom Duties:

• Toilet Cleaning:
  • Scrubbing and sanitizing toilets, including inside and outside.
• Shower/Tub Cleaning:
  • Scrubbing the bathtub or shower, including tiles and grout.
  • Cleaning shower doors or curtains.
• Sink and Vanity:
  • Wiping down and sanitizing bathroom sinks, countertops, and vanities.
• Mirror Cleaning:
  • Polishing bathroom mirrors to remove water spots and fingerprints.
• Floor Cleaning:
  • Sweeping and mopping bathroom floors.
• Restocking Supplies:
  • Replenishing toilet paper, soap, and other essentials.

4. Bedroom Duties:

• Making the Bed:
  • Changing bed linens (sheets, pillowcases, blankets) and making the bed.
• Organizing Clothes:
  • Tidying up clothing or personal items, folding clothes, and organizing drawers or wardrobes.
• Cleaning Furniture:
  • Dusting and wiping down furniture such as nightstands, dressers, and desks.
• Vacuuming or Sweeping:
  • Vacuuming or sweeping bedroom floors, especially under the bed and furniture.

5. Living Room & Common Area Duties:

• Dusting and Wiping Furniture:
  • Dusting coffee tables, side tables, bookshelves, and any other furniture.
• Vacuuming/Sweeping:
  • Vacuuming or sweeping floors, especially high-traffic areas.
• Upholstery Cleaning:
  • Vacuuming or wiping down sofas, chairs, and cushions.
• Organizing:
  • Tidying up books, magazines, or other items that might be scattered in common areas.
• Cleaning Electronics:
  • Dusting and cleaning electronic devices like TVs, remote controls, and gaming consoles.

6. Trash and Recycling Management:

• Emptying Trash:
  • Collecting trash from various rooms (kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms) and placing it in the main trash bin.
• Recycling:
  • Sorting and disposing of recyclables properly.

7. Additional Duties:

• Changing Linens:
  • Changing bed sheets and pillowcases regularly and refreshing any guest room linens.
• Cleaning Windows:
  • Washing windows, especially in high-traffic areas and main living spaces.
• Deep Cleaning Tasks (periodic):
  • Deep cleaning carpets, upholstery, and curtains.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing appliances, especially the refrigerator, oven, and microwave.
• Organizing:
  • Organizing closets, pantry, storage spaces, or other areas that accumulate clutter.
• Pet Care (if applicable):
  • Cleaning pet areas (pet beds, feeding areas, litter boxes) and tidying up after pets.

8. Occasional Duties:

• Cleaning Before/After Parties or Events:
  • Preparing the home for guests by tidying up and cleaning before an event, and doing a deeper clean afterward.
• Seasonal Cleaning:
• Tasks like washing windows, decluttering storage spaces, and doing a more detailed cleaning in preparation for a new season.
